This was her C5 that she recently sold. We don't race much since she joined the Army..
.. and my Stinger, which is a complete sleeper. Never got pics at the strip or autocross. Still had stock wheels back then.

I had a 2010 STi with nothing but bolt-on parts and a tune by Harvey at BoostCreep. I got Killer-B headers & Spoolinator plus the usual pieces. I put quite a bit of effort into the suspension and brakes, got good rubber, etc. I wanted a driveable car with throttle response. Even without a hard launch, it was a mid-11s car that would top out over 160. Great handling and brakes that would yank fillings out of your teeth. And compared to the fast cars in the Denver area, it was slow. GT-Rs could chew it up and spit it out. Etc. Street cars these days are unbelievable.
I helped a friend build a Willy's kit car with tubular frame, fiberglass body and a supercharged hemi. With street car rubber, on a sticky day it was a low 9s car. That's some serious acceleration for a streetable car but still, it's not the fastest ride on the road. Amazing. Then look what a fast street bike can do.
I like cars as much as the next guy, worked on them for a living, raced enduro carts in the 80's, have classics in my garage.

I have a stock 2016 hellcat. Fastest car I’ve ever driven and a blast to drive. I do not claim to be a professional driver. Just a guy who likes cars. Also have an 03 z06 and it’s nothing even close to that hellcat. Had a 71 challenger 440 R/T auto. That was fun too but isn’t in the same ballpark as that hellcat. Maybe look at the track hawk??? Jeep Cherokee with hellcat motor and AWD. Your dogs face would turn inside out

Ah... all these modern cars don't impress me. Try going way too fast, way too quickly in a 3500 pound metal box with all drum brakes, a non power single line master cylinder, no seat belts and a steering wheel shaped like a fucking spear!

No one said they were the way to go, and no bigger displacement engines aren’t always better...every motor sport would have huge displacement engines if that were the case.
