I built one of those... it's a 1" bore British Army Wall Gun c. 1770's. Used to sink Bateaux and defend forts.
Firing off a rest like that is, well, stupid. Meant to be fired from yokes and also using a ground mount.
But, hey.... stupid is as stupid does!

We should be asking ourselves why they accept it if they can, in fact, do as much work as a man. It may hold water in a physical pursuit, but it's BS if it's essentially desk work.
Saw a version of this in Yellowstone a few years back.

Was doing some research for a WW1 article when I came upon these pictures.
@veerg These are all pretty awesome!
WW1 marching towards the front.
Libya, with captured Nazi flag, 1941.
Looks like manning a Bofors gun????
WW2 Tankers... Punjab regiment.
WW2 Bren Gunners, Punjab Regiment.
April 1915, Maharaha Bupinder Singh with Belgian Generals.
Sikh Regiment, Sicily, 1943.
Landing in Malaya in the 1950's where they worked with the SAS extensively.
I would not want to be German... or anyone else facing these warriors.... There are only a handful of true warrior cultures left in the world. Sikh's are at the top of that food chain.
