Well, from my perch, she's not wrong..........they should not have been allowed to have a dunce cap like her. Unfortunately, too late now. My only advice is make the best of it. At least she's alive. Maybe using a smaller fork, less frequently would begin to improve her outlook on life. In one form or another, we all have had issues to deal with. I'm running a bit low on sympathy for these types lately.

That is truly awesome... One of my best moments hunting occurred last fall in Oh. I was working a great deer plot and I got near a cliff and there was a huge bobcat above me on the face. I saw movement and put the scope right on him. He sat there and looked at me going "Bite me... you ain't gonna shoot." Bobcat was right. We looked at each other for about a minute and he walked off. I'd never seen a bobcat in the woods before. And I love cats. So this was a really neat moment.

The ambush set up by the Cougar is impressive. That the hiker was able to see it... was also impressive. Great video.

We have a lot of bobcat here; I should thin them some, but I like them. Not here, but where I used to live in WNC, I sat at the stump of a blown over three deer hunting. A little after light a smallish bobcat walked across the holler I was watching, onto the tree top and up the blown over tree. He was not as stealthy as you'd think till he got on the tree. The look that little bastard made when he got to where I was and realized it was great. He got close enough I could have reached out and pet him, once anyway... If I didn't watch him and know he'd be there, I'd probably made a strange face too.

I was commuting from work on my mountain bike one afternoon, riding at medium speed down a path in a bit of woods. There was a hill adjacent to the path, on the left side. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed something. I coasted 15 feet away, stopped and turned around. There was a HUGE bobcat that had been crouching on a large rock just 4 feet off the trail. This big bobcat backed up with a shocked look on his face, as apparently he did not think it was a 6' human coming down the trail. The cat was probably expecting a deer or golden retriever was about to be his next meal.

We looked at each other for about 30 seconds before he scampered into the brush, The bobcat was about 22" tall at the shoulders, so probably about 35 lbs. Most bobcats I have seen were about half this size. It was a beautiful creature, and pleasant moment.

I was deer hunting one day when I was a teenager. I didn't have a stand in this particular field, so I sat with my back against a tree on the edge of the field right next to the two track road that led into the field. Thought I heard something behind me, and turned to see a bobcat "hopping" like a rabbit, one hop at a time. I think he was frolicking, not paying attention. Anyway, I could see his path would put him within a few feet to my right when he passed by, but he never did. I waited and waited, then realized he was behind the tree I had my back against. I slowly peered around the trunk and finally caught him doing the same thing. He had come right up to the tree and then realized I was there (scent?) but didn't know where. So we were face to face with only a couple feet between us. When we made eye contact I swear I could see embarrassment in his facial expressions (along with fear, and a "what do I do now" look). I eased the rifle barrel in his direction just as a precaution and waited. He slowly withdrew back around the tree and once he was behind it he hit high gear back the way he came.

That's why I was a grunt and not an aviator. With the glare on my screen I only saw the three. However, considering that at least most of those pilots are Navy, I couldn't swear they were all male, much less Republican. I'm giving big blue the benefit of the doubt with 75% :)
