I’m offended because I’m in this picture.
Both of them for taking up a sport where the land would be better used as a rifle range.

You know, we have state cops around here that stand behind overpass pylons and jump out with their radar guns. When you're driving down the freeway and that happens, it scares the shit out of you. Apparently, they're so stupid that they've never given any consideration to the fact that they're going to cause accidents. Serious accidents. One more reason that I'd like to be living in a different state.
Just swerve towards them. If they pull you over tell them you thought he had a gun and you just watched a true crime TV show where car jackers were jumping out from behind overpasses and killing people. Trust me for more legal advice.

. Gonna have to dial this back like 2-3 grains LOL. First time loading semi-auto 308..
... so, yeah... apparently a 155 AMAX and 44.5gr of IMR-4166 isn't the answer in the PTR-91

Tough to find when they fuck off into low-earth orbit, because G3 ejection pattern generally 20+ feet "over that way".

It’s an H&K design and that’s how their chambers were for that time period.
They were probably ejecting a half mile away so he didn’t notice until he drove to pick them up.
I had a P7 that ejected cases 15’ away every time. Same striations on the cases. Didn’t love it and moved it in. Shoulda kept it I guess.

Yeah, apologies. I guess I was kinda being a shitheel about it. I thought about it and I can see where on the fourth round, you would have gone "Ruh Roh". Then, hindsight is 20/20. You kinda have to "admire" HK for being able to fling brass two to three times further than any other manufacturer. Their ability to fling brass to the tree line/weeds is pretty remarkable.
But, as they say, always start at least 10% below max charge and work your way up.
Or, if you don't shoot the G3 that often, maybe factory ammo is the way to go.
