So a friends Father was being taken to the VA for a medical appointment. One of the Brother's was taking Dad for an unrelated health issue when all of a sudden the Son looked over and found his Father slumped to the passenger door. Dad was rushed in and it was found that he had a fast growing tumor in the brain, with bleeding. Dad fought like Dads do for a few days, but remained in a coma until finally slipping away with grace and dignity.
A friend of the family's lives a few doors down from Mom, and that friends Father was Marine Recon and happened to be in town and heard of this tragic event. This was his response at 2200.
I'm leaking from the eyes as I write this, for the second time this morning. God love that man for his kindness and God Bless you Dad. Rest in Peace.
