Not in those rifles. I have shot MBs out of other folks rifles but the twist rate is so slow on mine that round ball is the best option. I would give them a try in a 1-48 as that will handle both OK but if I was only shooting MBs, I would be looking at a 1-32 or faster twist rate as that seems to be the common acceptable range for the best performance.

I quit using a patched round ball when I found these by a different manufacturer years ago. They were in a yellow plastic box when I used to buy the. Shot great out of a 1-66 twist and hit harder than a round ball.
 
Yeah, I mentioned the tensioner direction in a post above. I switched it later and backed off the tension a bit. It absolutely whined like a supercharger.

I don't think there's many guys left out there that have done so many that they can tell that it's stretched too tight and it'll whine.
Back in the day, yea, but now.....nope.

Just wait till you have to do a clutch on it :)
