Similar story. My wife & I were at her 30th high school class reunion. One of my wife's male classmates was dating a girl they graduated with. He was telling me about helping this girl pick out new tits. I told him that he did a really great job!
Later that evening as the party is winding down the girl walks up to me sticks her chest out and says "Al said you thought he did a good job helping pick out my new boobs." Every time I put a girl on the back of my bike; wife, one of my daughters, or the wife of a friend; by the time we're half an hour into a ride their helmet is bouncing off of mine and they're drooling down my neck. Unless I'm riding like I'm solo, they stay pretty "alert" for that.

Not in those rifles. I have shot MBs out of other folks rifles but the twist rate is so slow on mine that round ball is the best option. I would give them a try in a 1-48 as that will handle both OK but if I was only shooting MBs, I would be looking at a 1-32 or faster twist rate as that seems to be the common acceptable range for the best performance.

Large concrete blocks supporting oak timbers and generally a pine or other soft wood cap.
We ( Divers ) go in in the water at the stern while the ship is still floating in the dry dock and will call out line up and vertical separation dimensions. We will tell the drydock crew how to adjust the ship in the drydock and then have the dock crew start the pumps and will will call out corrections until the stern lands on the blocks. We recover the diver and move to the bow and repeat the process to land the bow on the blocks.
We can usually land a 750'+ ship within an inch or two if the weather is cooperative and the dock crew is on their collective game.
The Dockmaster may pump the hull up by a few feet to put some of the ship's weight on the blocks and then have us check the blocks for contact.
We may have to insert wooden wedges to improve contact on some of the crucial blocks ( Smaller Hulls with lots of shape or if the Shipyard was given a docking plan that doesn't match the hull in the water ) or remove some of the blocks that were built too high due to a bad docking plan.
Slamming in 6"X 6" X 48" Oak wedges with a sledge hammer underwater in zero visibility isn't as fun as it sounds.
I've docked USN Frigates, Tico Class Cruisers, Independence Class LCS's, Spearhead Class JHSV/ EPF's and a large number of USNS ammo, RORO and Oilers in zero visibility, just by feel during the 25+ Years I've been on the job.
