Driving a AA/FA took a pair of steel balls and little brains. 🇺🇸
In '93 at Sears Point Raceway (Sonoma) I stood next to the burnout box while Pure Hell did multiple gas induced fire burnouts for local TV to promote the Jim Davis Memorial Drag races that weekend. Absolutely priceless. AA/FA drivers have balls and no sense of fear, pure adrenaline junkies. (y)
I was there with Mel Bryson and his AA/G Willys.

I saw Wild Willie Borsch and his Winged Express in the late 60’s. First time I breathed and smelled Nitro so much☠️ Still have a cap signed by him around somewhere.
