I had a 10/22 fail to function on a ground squirrel hunting trip. I got about 500 rounds in and it stopped cycling. I took it apart and wiped off all of the gunk with McDonalds napkins, but I didn't bring and cleaning stuff or oil. I pulled the dip stick out of the engine on my truck and dabbed oil everywhere and right back to shooting ground squirrels.Throw some Kroil in that bitch, then after 20 minutes, cycle, put some 5w motor oil in there and go to work
