That’s the real deal, I took that pic. It has something to do with electricity going back through the ground…. I think.Someone help me out. Is this photoshopped or is there a leak that allows oxygen into the line?? I've worked pipeline where people, much more skilled than I, cut and welded natural gas lines but don't understand how this is a thing without some major malfunction
Thank you,
MrSmith
It’s low pressure it wouldn’t be a big deal, that’s why they can look for leaks with a lighterThat’s the real deal, I took that pic. It has something to do with electricity going back through the ground…. I think.
Something happened outside on the power pole and caused it is what I was later told.
If you would have loosened off one those flares you would have turned into a fireball
Main panel lost it's ground somehow, making the gas line the only path for ground to follow. (Assuming waterlines are plastic coming into the home) all that current going down the gas line back to the meter to find a good ground cause all kinds of issues. That’s the real deal, I took that pic. How would the main panel loose it's ground ? Do copper water lines help in this situation??Main panel lost it's ground somehow, making the gas line the only path for ground to follow. “Is that a gas line or the earth ground? Ah fuck it, clamp onto it!”Just turn the gas off, with gloves on
Something happened on the power pole and caused this, can’t remember exactly what it was
