You might want to check the book Tiger Force by Michael Sallah and Mitch Weiss..... Interested in your opinion.
Ive seen it, bunch of made-up yellow journalism. Cover to cover, solid bullshit. I went through the entire book, page by page, with the remaining survivors of that period at a reunion, just after the book came out.
I personally know most of the guys mentioned, and a lot who weren't mentioned. Wouldn't wipe my ass with that book.
One of the so-called journalists, stole entire folders of documents from NARA, and never returned them.
I suggest YOU read "Tiger Force: Inward Season Three" by Leo Heaney (Amazon), he served during that period in question and is a friend of mine. And an older book, "Special Men", by Dennis Foley and early Tiger Force leader (second person to lead the team), and the third book of the 6 Silent Men series (Linderer), which has at least one member of Tigers featured after he went over to LRRPS.
Typing this out doesn't express my vehemence and disdain for these two shit-sellers, in the least.

Nothing like 2000 lbs. of the meanest bull ever coming right at you. lol

My brother in laws family raised brangus cattle. They decided keeping the Brahma bulls around was just too risky for what more they got. Angus, ...not so much a problem. But, then you had to keep Angus bulls around too. It was a whole lot easier to work with Angus and Herefords and get premium price for black baldy's.
I spent a little bit of time around Watusi’s, those mean fuckers would try to move a fence to get you.
