I took a boatload of pictures of kivas at the different sites we visited on our recent road trip and will just toss a few up here. I could blame bad lighting conditions or whatever but I didn't get many good shots, unfortunately. If you go to Chaco, be sure to swing by Casa Rinconada to see the big kiva and you may see some of the many elk that hang out in the area. I saw one big bull but was too slow on the draw and didn't get his picture.

The horses usually get ear plugs!
As for horse women, yeah, choosing them as a partner is the beginning of the realization that you will never be #1 in her life! Oh, You'll be her #1 guy, but you're not any of her horses!
Kenda's partner told me a long time ago "Run mate! All horse women are nutters!"
And yet...here we are....still.

Is it just me or does the installed upside down outlet bug the crap out of anyone else ?

Maybe trolling, but they're supposed to be installed like that. That way if the plug pulls out some and you drop a knife or screwdriver on it,the first contact made is with the ground pin, no electrocutions just a funny smell. People only put them In the other way because it looks like a face so it looks "right".

That's the same reasoning I heard.
How likely is that to actually happen?
Maybe once in the history of mankind.
Still a bunch of bullshit.

The ones in my home installed like that indicate that they have a wall switch. And it's always the upper plug that is switched. Bugs the hell out of me because 1. it's upside down and 2. you have to use the upper plug for a lamp or whatever and I want to use the lower plug to keep the cord closer to the ground. No real reason other than my OCD. ?
