First of all… Which vaccine is Israel using?
Second, if you’re getting crossover infections what is the variant currently going on in Israel? Delta, gamma, mu, etc.
Third, even if the friggin vaccine is only 40% effective that’s better than being completely screwed.
Lastly, this thing will continue to be a moving target and every year they will probably come out with the four strains that are the worst and create a vaccine for that.
all of the vaccines that have been produced from the United States are affective against the original beta and alpha variants of what we call COVID-19. Any additional protection is a matter of happenstance not planning. And all the friggin conspiracy theorist and anti-VAXer need to get a life… rather than running around thinking that what they’re spouting is actually valid.

Seriously, it is sad this has become so political that some people want to get violent. I really think Russia and China has to be laughing their asses off. America has not only fallen far behind the rest of the world in Math and Science, apparently we forget about foreign interference.
Personally, if you want the jab get it, if you don't, don't. If your employer has a policy, either follow it, quite or get fired. If you own a bussiness do what you want, and to me that includes letting insurance companies charge a different rate to people far more likely to run up a big bill in the ICU.
Unvaccinated people are 1100% more likely to die from Covid. Prove me wrong with facts.

The common cold is a coronavirus. With all the time our scientists have had to make vaccines to end the cold, why haven't they done it? What makes you think they will be more successful with Covid? It's going to mutate, as does the cold. Both look to be with us, forever.
Why didn't our genius politicians lock us down over the common cold 50 years ago? (Free answer: they hadn't set the stage yet for the transition to a socialist government with rigged elections)

Just my humble opinion, but it seems as though these "Variants" are coming up "as needed" and not simply due to natural mutations (unless the mutational ability is coded in). Remember this isn't a naturally occuring visrus, it was a weaponized virus that was released on purpose. Fauci was caught in a lie regarding "Gain of Function".

50 years ago the population of the US was ~203 million, about 130 million fewer.
Medical technology was much less effective.
We didn't have social media, so lock downs couldnt be reported easily, but they did happen regionally

The common cold is most attributed to the rhino virus. Then there are the flu, rsv, corona, and others that mimic it in lesser forms.

Throw in nation state bad actors fucking with us again, and a president that, while I voted for him, is a disaster area of a person, and you get what we got as an outcome.
My son has a high level of expertise in this subject. He says that, when a human is infected with a virus like Covid, the human genome/virus interaction leads to the mutation. So, if I understand correctly, the medical scientific community does believe Delta and other Covid variants are natural mutations. Also, as is typical, the mutations are less deadly, but in the case of Delta, very contagious.
We don't have to use 50 year old tech on the common cold. We can use today's tech.
I'll try to find the journal article that stated the cold was a coronavirus. My understanding is that some colds are attributed to rhinovirus, but not all.
