Hunting & Fishing Mount back from Taxi and a few cool random pics

Single.shot here on the hide guided me on a Black Buck hunt on The Spanish Gourd Ranch in Bracketvile, Tx. I got the mount back this last weekend and we headed down to the ranch to hang it up and take some pics. Check out the big axis and the glow in the dark deer at the bottom.

This dude is wide and kinda big but his daddy is HUGE and my just catch a 190gr SMK next time I see him

Caught the flash from the game cam while the shutter was open on my DSLR (Timing just perfect I guess) I was about 100 yards away at the time

Thanks to single.shot for some cool memories and cant wait to hunt with him again. Also he has a cert. sitting on the table at the Snipers hide bash!!!!!!!!!!

That BB was a tough bitch. It took a 190gr, quarting tward us, at 70ish yrds and flipped Tom the bird. But he only went about 30yrds and collapsed.

Come to Texas PGS!!!! After seeing some of your stuff I wish I had a lot of things.... Maybe an elk next year if I can put together the trip but still working on it. Thanks for the comment. We saw bigger ones and we saw smaller ones but it was on intense long hard memorable hunt.

I'd love to head down there some winter for a couple weeks...maybe 2011 as we are going to New Zealand this winter for a Red Stag hunt....any age limit on kids hunting in Texas?

At our ranch if they can shoot their good to go, w/ adult. Under 14, don't think they even need a hunting liciens as long as the adult has one.

Texas is pretty kid friendly.
