mounting a bipod on a Seekins rail

Can I successfully mount a Harris bipod on a Picitinny rail using a swivel stud adapter such as the Uncle Mike's?

I would personally get a better quality one like the Larue, ARMS, Badger or one of a couple other adapters.

I was not aware that other companies made them. My main concern is whether or not the soft bedding strips on the Harris have a good contact area with the stock. In other words, is the rail itself going to interfere with the Harris fitting the stock?

If you use an adapter then you don't have to worry about it, the bipod only contacts the adapter, and the adapter just clamps directly to the rail. You can get a Harris bipod from Larue with their adapter already on it.
