Itching to try the 185 Jugs in the .308 for the first time. I never used MR2000 before and does anyone have any good results with that powder in the .308? Any loads you like to share, of course I'll work up. I know Varget is my go to powder, just thought that MR2000 will work nice with the heavies.

185 juggs , 47-48 gns 2000mr, lapua brass and winchester brass . 18" 12 twist Lothar barrel 2625 fps . Lake city and Fed brass star alot lower in charge. 45.5 +

I've been shooting the 185 Hybrid with 47.2 grains 2000MR (Lapua brass) thru my 26" Bartlein 5R ten twist for about two years now. Last time I chrono'd I was 2820 FPS and needed 8.7 mils to get to 1,000 yards from 100 yard zero.
Did you see any signs of pressure? I have a GA Precision Crusader with a Bartlien 26 inch as well, but I have the 11:25 twist.

How does 2000MR do with temperature changes (temp sensitivity)? I am loading up for a match down here in Georgia, but the match is in Wyoming and will be 20-60 degrees colder.
Fps is great and while doing load dev for 185 jus and 200.20x bullets for my f class 30" barrel..ive noticed fps changed from 84° to 64° so i asked some pro f class shooters and some confirmed that they went backto vargert so not to worry about temp..BUT these are f class shooter strictly..tact shoiting wont make you missed that silhouette

Thanks for the feedback. Did you record your velocities for the different temps? And how was your SD’s in relation (ie if there was a total 20fps difference, buy your SD is 15, it makes it more difficult to find more concrete answers).
