Hunting & Fishing Mule Deer Picture Thread

Re: Mule Deer Picture Thread

I think I win......mines the smallest.

Im not to the trophy hunting stage in my life yet, we like red meat in my house. Not saying I dont go after trophys but the last weekend of season any legal animal is fair game to me.

This passed year was a bust for me on mule deer. I spent most of the season trying to locate the buck I had watched for a month before season for my uncle, we never caught back up with it other than for about 2 second when it jumped from a bed than up and over a hill not to be seen again. I hunted 1/2 a day with a gun for a deer for myself but all I found was does.

I think mine gets pushed over the top cause I shot it with the Barrett at 650 yards

Pat, you've certainly got no shortage of pics of nice bucks, but that's one of the best looking mulies I've ever seen. If I'm ever able to go on a mule deer hunt, I hope I run into his twin/doppelgänger.

Do you make those leather cheek pads that your sporting on your .260? I checked your site but didn't see 'em.

It was all neck meat though! It didn't waste much, just removed his throat! There was no entrance or exit wound, his throat was just gone!!

My 2012 mulie. 488yds .25-06 AI.

Some european mounts from years past...(left one is actually a blacktail from northern CA)

Misc. mulies from years past. The little 3 point skull cap on the left was a 3rd day bummer. I had seen him scouting, and with some big boys. Opening day we saw him, and I passed. 3rd day, we saw him with a broken front shoulder, and I decided to take him rather than leaving him for the coyotes.

My best mulie to date.

My homemade coat rack (sheds) and a skull plate from yet another past mulie.

My archery Black Hawaiian sheep, my daughter's archery goat (when she was 11 years old), and a mountain lion kill pick-up rack.
