Hi everyone. I'm thinking of putting a muzzle brake on my .308. It has a 22" barrel. What are my options?

My personal favorites are Badger Ordnance's Thruster or APA's Little Bastard.

No my muzzle is not threaded. But I can have it done.
I really like the look of the Surefire muzzle brakes and one would allow me to add one of there suppressors later.

I have a surefire brake on my KAC and like it so much that I got one for my LMT. The only downside is that they're loud as hell for whomever is standing beside you. The loudness may be inherent to all brakes but I'm not sure because all I've ever owned are surefire's. IMO you can't go wrong with a surefire, especially if you plan to go suppressed at some point.
Please take a look at Precision Armament's M11 and their new m41. I have both but only used the M11 on my 20" 5R, and recoil is less than my 243, and accuracy is superb. I tried SF, YHM, JP, and more and just loved PA M11. It's heavy, but helps keep brrl down on these bouncy shorties.
I got the 30ba brake from thunderbeast and I have to say that I am impressed with it. It makes the 308 feel like a 5.56 and I can attach a suppressor to it when it comes in

No one has ever said "man I need a bigger brake" . Most really like the way that you can blend them in so they look seamless.
