hey guys I'm pretty new to the long range game but have found a lot of interest in it so here's my question I just picked up a 700 LR in 300wm it weighed in about 9 lbs naked I have a bipod an aluminum one peice base and a vortex diamondback back hp scope mounted on it so I'm guessing it's in the 12 to 13 lb range now I've only shot in prone off the bipod originally I was getting some major muzzle hop to up and to the right I corrected my technique some and loaded the bipod and put a foam comb riser on so that I could rest my head on the stock and maintain sight picture I still get a little bit of hop not bad but after the shot my point of aim is just over the target at 100 yards what other techniques should I employ to try and eliminate the muzzle jump or will it require a brake with it being a magnum cartridge
