Well wanting everyones thoughts on the final build.

It started out as a panther bull 20

Then I got a wild hair and wanted to paint it camo, so I used krylon. Huge mistake, never again.

After a week of stripping and disassembly, I duracoated everything magpul fde. Put everything back together tonight.

I will use this for coyote hunting and wanted somethign more durable than krylon.

WOW, thats a lot of FDE. To me it's to much FDE. Maybe put some black or another color in it to brake it up.

But hey, let's face it, paint doesn't make it shoot better, so just get out there and sling lead down range.

Re: My ar's evolution

the k-grip is pretty vertical, but I do alot of shooting while I am sitting using an extended bipod.

I was thinking about painting the barrel, but I actually thought it would be too much FDE. I have some black duracoat, but it is the tactical flat black, which to me is tooo flat.

PRI Gen 3

She's an MK12 Mod 0 clone. Not exact, but real close.

Re: My ar's evolution

A little update.

This is at 100yards. Took one shot, adjusted scope and fired off three more. I'm using a 4x12x40 Vortex Diamondback, and Fiocchi 50grain vmax ammo. According to my ballistics calculator, with zeroing in at 210, I should be able to hit a 3inch target out to 275yards, perfect for coyote hunting in this area.
