OK, maybe I cheated...
I started with the best components I could find:

H4350 Powder
Virgin Lapua Brass (.260)
Berger 140 gr Hybrid
Federal 210M Primers
and In This rifle: http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/firearms-sale/244158-wts-hamonds-built-260-a.html#post3059279

Loads per the OCW and Berger's published data:

1. 37.0
2. 37.8
3. 38.6
4. 39.4
5. 40.2
6. 41.0
7. 41.8 - this one I did not do on the first trip, because I did not read the instructions very well.

COAL = 2.846"

first outing:

After seeing that there were not 3 in a row, I went back and read the instructions... oops, I figured the OCW was most likely 41.0, but in order to prove it, I loaded three more:

1. 40.2
2.41.0
3.41.8

also, so I would have something else to do at the range, I started on COAL trials for 41.0:

1. 2.836
2. 2.826
3. 2.816

Results:

now, I distinctly remember firing 3 shots at target 2. I wouldn't believe it either.

feel free to let me know what you think. this was fun, I will have to do it for the rest of my rifles.

My best loads for my 26" DTA barrel is 43.3 gr. H4350 in Lapua or Nosler brass using Lapua 139 gr. Senar BTHP. Shooting yesterday suppressed-first shot high, but the final four touching at 100 yds. Haven't uploaded my pictures from yesterday to Photobucket yet, but will do that in the next few days. I need to anneal and FLS after every 3-4 firings. I think your rifle can do even better!

re-do.
1) 40.0
2) 40.4
3) 40.8
4) 41.2
5) 41.6
6)42.0
7) 42.4
8)42.8

looks like #4 to the naked eye, but I plotted them and #7 barely wins.

planned on doing another with the scenars, but ran out of daylight on the range.
