I still have one I bought in 1981 for $371 out the door.

Re: My Gold Cup

Prices sure have changed. Local gunsmith tells me from 70's on GC quality went down.

This one all the oem parts where trashed, even the adjustable sights.

here's a run down on the work.

Frame mill work top of slide and sides of slide
Hammer: Titianum
Sear: Titianum
Grip Safety: High Ride Beavertail
Ejector: Tactical Extended Ejector
Thumb Safety: Ambidextrous Safety
Trigger: light weight 2# carry.
Feed Ramp: Polish
Magazine Release: Extended Tactical. Not in pic but is included.
Checkering: Frontstrap - High Cut 30LPI
Grips: Genuine Cocobolo Grips , Ivory available extra.

Slide Assembly

Sights: Wichita adjustable.
Extractor: Polish and Adjusted
Ejection Port: Lower & Flare Back
Guide Rod: Full Length two piece w/Reverse Plug. This type is required to disassemble the barrel from the slide with this type of comp.
Springs: Wilson set match.
Barrel: Polished & Throated handfit
Compensator:Schuemann 5 port
Fitting: Custom Fit Slide/Frame Rails
Checkering: Back of Slide 20LPI
Finish: Super High Polish Blue. Not found on production factory gun and hard to find custom pistols with this grade of bluing due to labor intensive man hours involved.

some people don't like Titianum as they wear out quicker. But in the mean time Titianum gives some quick lock up time and makes getting 10 shots off under 2 seconds easy.
