Greetings everyone. Just wanted to share what I recently purchased and was wanting to get opinions on. Please let me know what you think. This is my first "sniper"/tactical type bolt gun I've ever bought. I just didn't think I could build one for the price I paid and had been wanting a Rem 700 in 308 for a while and I loved the stock. Here is the description as it was written:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">This is a Remington Model 700 VTR. The triangular design is lighter but offers the rigidity of a bull barrel. This barrel offers 5R rifling.
Tactical bolt knob added.
Three pound timney trigger added.
Speed lock firing pin added.
Seekins Precision bottom metal added to accept accuracy international (aics) magazines (available in 5 or 10rd).
Bell and Carlson a-5 tactical stock with adjustable cheek comb and length of pull added and inletted for seekins bottom metal.
Comes with steel 20moa tactical scope mount.
AICS 5rd magazine included.
Original stock. Original firing pin. Original trigger. Original bottom metal all included.</div></div>
Personally, the only thing I'm not sure of is the barrel. I might end up changing that out one day. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome!
