i love harbor freight. seen this one set up in PGH a week or so ago and it was sturdy enough, but not heavy enough. put a couple bags of concrete on the bottom and you'll be good to go

Sounds too thin to me for straight wood.
ETA- I see the edge is banded so maybe that'll support the edge. I'd reinforce the underside of your press location with some plywood.
ETA2- Did you mean 3-4" and not 3/4"? That'd make more sense looking at the picture. As 3-4 inches thick would be quite stable for a nice loading bench.

Thats what I have.. They just had it on sale for 139.00 also.
Its basically a 60" butcher block.. Get a riser of some type to get the press up other wise you wont be able to open the drawers..
The clamp on the side holds the case trimmer really nice.

I dont have one but I can get one..There was guy who made and sold nice MDF risers for the presses.

Only thing with the Rockler kit is you still have to add a top for it which is another $200+ Nice benches though, my dad has one he uses for a mini-lathe and pen turning table.

The top is "not included"... $290.99 for the top plus shipping I'm sure. 3/4" solid oak is pretty darn strong. especially when it also has a 3/4" solid oak frame.
