My New-to-Me Pre-Ban Colt AR15A2

I've been wanting to get a real-deal pre-Ban Colt AR15 A2 for quite some time and finally found one that was apparently used not at all or only very little. I picked this one up for $1,000 and am pretty pleased. I like the improvements Colt made to the AR15 with the A2 series. I even picked up a mil-surp cleaning kit for the butt stock and am now looking at authentic bayonets for it, for fun and to round it out.

Oh, and, no, I don't keep my firearms by a roaring fire, this was just for the sake of pics.

Great looking A2, nice grab. One of my very favorite rifles. They handle good, sights are easy on either aperture. That's a really nice example, been taken care of for sure.
