Now that I have the kinks worked out I figured I would post up a pic of my rifle and show her off a bit.
This rifle started off as a savage 10FCP HS in 308 win, I added a Bushnell 6500 4.5-30 on an EGW Base and use Burris signature rings. I shot it box stock like this while I tooled up for relaoding and figured out where I wanted to go with it.
After some time, I decided to change a few things I didn't like. The Trigger got replaced by a SSS unit (very nice btw) and I also added one of thier bolt knobs (not a fan of the big ball savage uses). AWS hooked me up with a brake and I had it installed by a local gunsmith. An eagle stock pack and some krylon and I am happy with the setup so far. I use it as a varmint rifle and the brake is nice for spotting shots.
For ammunition I am running a 155 scenar over varget in Lapua brass, it is very accurate out to the 400 yds I can shoot to, looking for land I can get to 600yds on. Im not a super shot but I can put rounds in a 4 inch circle all day once I get the windage right.
5 shots @ 100yds.
Going to try some of the XBR 8026 in the next few days.
