Naked AICS with a twist

Has anyone thought about making a pistol grip and trigger guard that could be attached to a bare AICS frame? It is really nice looking rifle with the skins removed and I think that it would be cool to be able to shoot it without the skins.

Just curious...

It wouldn't be difficult, but it wouldn't be practical either. It would make handling/shooting the rifle more difficult from any position other than the bench.

If you really have a desire to do it, hack up a set of skins or get yourself some fiberglass and epoxy.

Cowboy up! Here in Texas, real mean don't need no sissy chassis (which is a French word for 'I am too much of a wuss to shoot from my hip') and just fire the bare action/barrel while holding the recoil lug against the cigar butt in their left hand. That whole stock/chassis thing was probably started a few hundred years ago by the same frog pansy that used their leftover wine stoppers to wrap their fishing rod handle in cork.

Thanks everyone. I am still in the desert right now and about 5000 miles away from my chassis so I haven't been able to handle it or even look at it. I was just wondering based off the pictures that I have seen.

To the OP, mine was very very very crude.....I did it purely so I could shoot while Todd Jackson had my skins painting them. I will tell you this, it hurts like a bitch with all the sharp edges, no way around it at all.
