I have had experience with this before on a other Forum for Dedender 110's. I had a shop lie and screw us on a bunch of work for a Defender I imported.
I posted on the website had anyone else had issues with these guys etc, just asking a question.
Well 6 months later I get a call followed up by a certified letter of a lawsuit and some stupid law from England where I could face jail!!!! And be on the blacklist , never allowing me to enter England, I shit you not!!!! I had to hire an attorney to submit a request to have my quesrion removed from the forum because the shop was suing me and the forum.
And they had lied , I had all the emails and photos to prove it. So we settled and had my post removed and that was it. Freaking England and now here we are facing the same crap here in the US

Reading the fine print, it seems the reporting threshold is NOT $600 for a transaction, but rather is if the account has ever held at lest $600 in total value or a cumulative amount of at least $600 over the lifetime of the account. In addition it means any transfers between accounts you hold will also be reported, so moving money from your checking to savings or making a withdrawal at the bank would all be reported.
