I just bought a dnt thermnight 335, and probably going with a patriot arms 223, for a dedicated night rig. Try to stay in it cheapish.

Next will be suppressor, got 3 in mind. Will be on either of my ar223s or 6.5cm bolt gun, and a 6cm once it's done. Eventually I will buy more suppressors, but for the time being just getting one of these, this is also my first suppressor.

Jolene s, cheapest of the bunch, good reviews and feedback

Enticer s, next highest, pew science seems to really like it

Abel theorem s, highest, sounds like a great company, from what I have read on here, and I can get a vented end cap, to make it more versatile between gas and bolt gun.

I would look at the DDC Wolfhunter if the ability to shoot 6.5 isn't a must. $720 msrp but can be found cheaper and includes 1/2x28 and 5/8x24 Ti DT mounts. It's probably the best performer at it's weight and size range.

If shooting over 6mm is a must I'd go for the DDC Enticer s-ti over the Jolene. The price and weight are very close but with the S-TI you can get a small performance boost by switching endcaps for the smaller calibers.

Thanks, looks like dead air also has a vented end cap that will work with the enticer also

Abel stuff is very high quality, and the guys at Abel are great to work with.

That would be my pick if its in the budget.
It's definitely top pick, in my mind, it's in the budget, may have to wait an extra month, after dropping close to 3k on the thermal and gun. The huxwrx was on my mind also, but not ideal for a bolt gun, from my reading on here.

I have a B&T SRBS 762 and it’s a low back pressure can and works great on my 6ARC and my .308 bolt gun but also plan to use it on my 6.5 and 6 Creeds. I got it at Silencer Shop and they have a free tax stamp on them.

I have looked at those a few times, the Ti is the one I looked at mostly

Look at the OCL Infinity… should have mine approved shortly. Picked it up for the versatility and it also offers multiple caps for bolt/gas

Yeah if you wanted to keep it as light as possible that is a good way to go. I wasn’t worried about the weight and it’s not overly heavy so I went with the inconel. I think the Ti is a free tax stamp too through Silencer Shop. Not sure if you have a place you are going through of not.

Here’s mine on my 22” 6ARC.

Nice, I was going to do a 22arc, but just going 223 for now, may do a barrel swap later

Have you looked at the Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen-S and the Thunderbeast Arms Magnus-S? Those are my 2 top recommendations. Not only because I own them, but I've compared them with many others at the range and they are the quietest of the 7" cans I've heard. They're also precision built, and both have a lifetime warranty.

I have looked at OCL, not really looked at thunderbeast, the ones I have seen are more than I want to spend.

Let me step into the fire pit.

Just picked up an aero lahar 30 a couple weeks ago. Hadn’t planned on that suppressor, was looking at a Huxwrx, KAC, and a couple others. Long story short, seen it in the gun store and figured why not.

I’m impressed with it so far. Have shot it on a 20 inch 308 bolt gun, 10.3 inch 556,and an 11.5 gas gun. It tamed the 10.3 pretty good for its size, not as good as my YHM phantom, but that suppressor is a dinosaur.

TBAC are worth it when you understand their build process and how much pride and work they put into concentricity of their suppressors. OCL is fairly new company, but @AndrewKing is a good dude, and a member here. His cans are top-notch as well, and he puts TONS of R&D into his products and also is constantly upgrading his production processes to improve on those, as well, even though I’ve never seen any issues with how he’s built them from the beginning. Highly recommend the Hydrogen-S and TBAC Magnus-S. 👍🏼

I just bought 3 Abel suppressors. Theorem, Theorem-S, and a Biscuit. I’ve not heard anything bad about them and they are priced very fairly I think for the quality. I called and was able to speak to someone at Abel who answered all of my questions. No doubt Thunderbeast makes great suppressors but after trying to obtain one for months and not being able to I just gave up.

Local gun shop had all of the Abel suppressors in stock so it made it very easy to get them without waiting any longer.

It’s not hard to “obtain” a TBAC suppressor. If nobody has what you want in stock, call Blake and order one directly from them. They might have it in stock, if not, they’ll put you on the list for the next production run of them.

Well now I'm leaning hard on the ocl hydrogen s, seems like a good can, at a good price. If not the enticer, might come down to what is in stock. I definitely want an Abel, but may come later, I'm definitely going to call and talk to them before I make a purchase.

How does the ocl do on gas guns, the one I bought today, has an adjustable gas block, but I did see anywhere of a vented end cap that would work with the hydrogen.

Bullshit. Let me first say I have some TBAC cans and they are good suppressors. But they are damn sure hard to get. From the website, a can ordered “today” can be expected to be shipped mid to late 2026. Fuck that nonsense. And as for dealers, I’ve checked with Silencer Shop several times and they just laugh when you ask. One of my best friends makes the most popular action in the PRS so I’m familiar with what goes along with outgrowing your production abilities. I’ve also seen how that problem gets solved. There is a breakdown somewhere and it’s not because of attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Well, take that up with @TBACRAY and @Zak Smith

There’s nothing to “take up” with anyone. I wasn’t asking any questions. And I damn sure wouldn’t expect either of them to come on here and openly discuss their private financials in regards to facility/production expansion. They know what their backlog is. It’s not a mystery.
