ok, here is the situation. I have a 6mmAI 26" barrel that needs to throw 105 berger hybrids at a max velocity of 3100fps at approximately 3000ft altitude. I will be load developing at around 500ft. My major concern is for ES, SD as i believe i should be able to find a suitably accurate load. . . . will the standard powders for 6rem, 6cm, 243, 6x47 do well as a reduced load? specially concerning ES and SD, i've always found up near book max to give me more consistency. I have some H4350, and H1000, H4831. Maybe get my hands on some RL22 as that seems to do well at the lower velocities (just researching other people's results) So the question stands, will I have any issues, being 5+ more grain case capacity? Also does a velocity of 3050 sound good?? (remember thats at 500ft and I don't want to break 3100 at 3000ft)
Maybe someone actually chrono'd some "break in" hand loads?? idk, i hope someone more knowledgeable answers that this isn't even a major concern here, but it's NEVER been that simple for me. . . .Any and all information welcome.
