Suppressors Need help with threaded barrel for g17

I have a g17 that I need a threaded barrel for. I am tired of the problems my lone wolf has given me. Do any of you have any experience with storm lake or any other threaded barrels for a g17?

I want a drop in unit. I would also like a 1/2-28 thread so I would not have to swap parts around to get the silencer to work on different guns.

My G19 barrel from LW has been great. However, I have a lot of friends running KKM barrels. They love them.

I have had 4 or 5 storm lake barrels and all have been great. I have had one LW barrel and have no complaints there either.

Thanks for your thoughts. I have tried lw on several guns (glocks) and can't get them to cycle. Switch to a gun with a factory threaded barrel (Beretta 92) and it runs perfect.

Only have issues when I have my tirant on my pistols.

Maybe try checking your booster, I know on the osprey you have to lube them once in awhile.

This. Are you using the fixed barrel adaptor on your M9? My Tirant runs great on my G19 with a LW barrel.

I am using the booster on both guns per aac's instructions. I have lubed the booster every time I shot it.

The can has less than 300 rounds through it.

Very odd. Does the gun function with the can removed? Try giving LW a call. If you want to get rid of the barrel shoot me a message and ill probably buy it.

Gun functions fine without can. Ammo is fine as well. I sold the barrel 3 weeks ago and wanted to get some other ideas before I bought one. I ordered a storm lake this am.

Storm lake is a nice barrel and so is KKM but in the end, the Lone Wolf runs fine on my setup. Sorry it is not working for your setup.

I found the problem. I had forgotten I put a glockstore stainless recoil spring in the gun. This was causing the problem. I had to take the recoil spring apart and polish all the metal parts except the spring. The rough metal on metal was causing the clambering issues.

I have lone wolf and KKM.

kKM actually asked me which specs to thread the barrel to. I.e. AAc or Osprey or another brand/spec suppressor piston.

Contrast this with Rat-tac which sold a threaded barrel and wants 60 more to rethread it to the proper spec.

Go with the KKM.

Always have to change out to a lighter spring on a Glock when using a compensator or suppressor.

Me and a few of my shooting buddys tried the LW barrels and had accuracy, fit or chambering issues and as far as we are concerned they are nothing more than welfare barrels. Do yourself a favor and get a quality tube like Bar Sto, Storm Lake, Jarvis etc. And remember, you get what you pay for.

Gun works fine with factory recoil spring but does not work with glock store recoil spring. Storm lake is a nice barrel
