Rifle Scopes Need info on IOR Valdada 6-24 X 56 scope.

If you found it what do you think of it ? did you look through it ? what was your impressions . I only own 9 scopes so far not a lot including one ior crusader that I love regardless of what others think or feel about the product . I just could not pass up on the sale I saw , and I am supper happy I did get it when I did . You have to decide for yourself what you like and what you will or won't pay for all my friends called ior trash and rubbish till they looked through it for them self and used it . I have seen nothing that compares to that view with the 40mm tube nothing except maybe my spotting scope and it has a 80mm objecive so yea its bigger and brighter , I have had no tracking issues or any other problem in 3 almost 4 years so far and that's with 3 other people shooting and farting with it two of them take adjusting it like it was a full time job when at the range . You could spend a lot less money and get an arken optics 6x24 for 600 dollars plus shipping , but you got to do what ever it is you want to do . I would buy another ior in a minute if I could afford it and had another rifle that needed a scope .

Thank you for your comments. I saw tracking test someone was referring to I'm just trying to figure out what scope they were using to track with? Was it a older IOR model? Was it an Valdada ?
Not a lot of information just a picture. I've been to several different sites and forums they seem to love them. I have not seen one bad review on the G2 on YouTube.
Now I did hear that ior might have used the snipershide logo on something? Is that the reason the site seems to be poisoned on this brand?

I tested the 6-24x56 IOR a while back. It was decent optically except for heavy tunneling on the low end. Mechanical feel was decent, but one of the internal seals fell out toward the end of the tests if memory serves me right (it could have been on the 3.5-18x50 IOR, but I do not recall off hand since it has been while). It was an iteresting scope for the time, but a good number of people who tried it were having mechanical issues.

That was right around the time I stopped testing IORs due to consistency issues.

At least you have some information that you came by during testing. How long ago was that I know that you say you don't really remember but things change. I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here but the G2 is my only alternative to buying a scope and having to add some kind of scope to give me the amount of elevation adjustment that I'm going to need without adding gizmos to my scope base

Just as a question, what round are you shooting & what are your intended distances?
Okay fair enough. I'll be looking for a scope for my vudoo Gun Works V-22. The gun is being built right now I'm going to be receiving it in the next couple of weeks. Right now I shoot 22 long rifle at about 350 yards on this rifle I have a 30 MOA rail 20 MOA scope rings and a Viper PST 5 x 25 the only reason I limit myself to 350 yards is I am shooting with as much holdover as I could possibly get out of the scope. With my new vudoo I want to take it out to 600 yards. I normally shoot out past a mile with my other long-range guns so I understand the ballistics involved in doing what I want.

One of the S&B 12-50x56 either PMII or FT II scopes would be a pretty good one for that application as it has a pretty huge adjustment range.

Also check these mounts out:

That's a pretty pricey scope. I'm active duty military and the owner of valdada gives an extremely good discount for for guys like me

Athlon, Burris, Bushnell, EOTech, Leica, Leupold, Nightforce, Steiner, Trijicon, Vortex, and Zeiss all have LE/MIL pricing.

If you're hellbent on rolling the dice based on a discount instead of real world feedback, Hi-Lux, Sightmark, Swampfox, and US Optics all have big discounts.

You're also approved for an 84 month loan at 14% interest. Enjoy your V6 Mustang/Camaro/Challenger.
