Re: Need input bf I buy a millennium 2
I use the IR screens frequently..
They work brilliantly at night in complete darkness (extra care when setting up in the dark.. )
And daytime too.
My 100yrd testing strip is alongside tall trees, so I often get dappled sunlight above the chrono, which messes with sensors trying to detect the 'bullet shadow'
But the IR screens fix the problem.
The fps numbers always get me bang on target when I use the numbers in JBM for long range, so I trust the figures mine gives me.
The software is 'ok' if your into that kind of thing,
It auto puts the data on a spreadsheet for you, but I find it a little awkward to read, and end up adjusting the data columns to suit myself,
But I don't bother with that anymore, it's the kind of a novelty thing that wears off after a while.
My only complaint is you have to have the sensors etc mounted on a tripod or similar, which is fine for bench shooting,
But I like to shoot prone for everything, and the sensors/bar don't sit on the ground, so you'll have to improvise to sit it on something rigid on the ground.
