I'm changing the stock on my Remington 700 to a H&S stock. With the new stock the front action screw will only screw several threads in to the action. I don't want to pull the threads so where can I get a slightly longer front action screw? I could also counter sink the base plate a little? Any suggestions?

Most hardware shops don't carry 1/4 28tpi with my intended head design so these have been my choices
Chances are that the screw you select won't be exact, so cutting to fit
will be required.

Ive got some HS screws....measure the length of the "short" screw and PM me.
If I have one a couple threads longer, you can have it.
