neoprene scope cover for scopes WITH sunshade

I've been using an old t-shirt for years. Decided it was time to stop being such a cheap bast*rd and just spend the coin on a fitted scope cover.

I don't care about the brand and whether it says "Leupold" or anything else on it, and the color isn't a big deal either.

for a fat 14.5" scope and a standard 15" scope... with sunshades...

can't seem to find a scope cover that will cover that length (haven't measured them with the sunshades)

any links or suggestions? my internet skills are somewhat deficient

I like the vortex sure fit covers but I have to take my sunshades off for them to fit.

I called vortex a while back and asked if they would make a 2xl to fit with sunshades and they said they had no plans for one but would pass the request along. I wouldn't think it would be that big of a deal to make. I could use a couple and I know others that would also.

Doesn't neoprene dry rot and get broken down by UV? I wouldn't think this would be best... are they using a UV protectant on it?

Get one of the 17.5" or 19.5" long scopecoat XP6's. That's what I use on my S&B 5-25's with the S&B sunshade.

+1 on scopecoat. i picked up my first one for my NF and it's great. i had a leupold brand one, use a vortex one, and bought one from the local academy store. all do it's job, but the scope coat brand is by far the thickest.

Yup. Got a pile of scopecoats for all my scopes. Some with and some without sunshades. Some vendors on Amazon have them. Best price I found

Love the grab handle. The muzzle guard I could take or leave. Needs to be bigger for cans anyway.

Not neoprene, but I use these. They are cheap, lightweight, packable, and weather proof. The 20" model will strech over a Viper PST with sunshade. They also have some cool covers for spotters too. It won't offer much impact protection, but will keep the elements out.

Not as thick of material as scopecoat, but available in a lot of sizes. I have 5 of them. Contact them, I'm pretty sure they'll make you a custom size if you are running a long shade.

Yea , I made the same call. It really sucks they don't account for their sunshades when making cover sizes.

Triad Tactical Padded Scope and Muzzle Cover

The Padded Scope Cover (PSC) Is made of 1000D Cordura material and the padding is 3/8" close cell foam.
The PSC comes in two sizes:
18.75" long and 5" tall and will fit objective lenses up to 56mm.
22.75" long and 5" tall and will fit objective lenses up to 56mm.

The muzzle cover is 8.5" long and will go over any diameter up to 1.5" (.30 cal suppressor). Supressor in both photos is a 1.5" Gemtech HVT 7.62

I just took delivery of a Nightforce 4-16x42 ATACR and would like a good cover. Is the Vortex cover padded? Will the medium size fit over the turrets?
There don't seem to be many options. Too bad Triad doesn't make a smaller stand-alone cover. The NF is just under 13" long but its pretty fat when considering the turrets..

this is what i have for a couple rifles, love it for my useage
