Well after a long wait my new rifle is done and it is a shooter.I only had the Leupold 4.5-14x50mm and it had the ARMS rings already on, so I figured it will work temporarilly till I sell and get new scope. Here are the specs..
Surgeon 591 Action
Mike Rock 260 cal #7 fluted 22" and threaded for supp.
Thomas Manners T5A stock
Jewell trigger set at a crisp 2.5#
Atlas Bipod
Now I want to give a huge thanks to Jim Ruiz and Bob at Predator Custom in Knoxville,Tn. as they knocked this out in alittle over a week for me..

Re: New 260 Rem..

The BC of the 155 is .570 at 2800fps originally made for the 6.5x284..And they were only sold in 500 rd boxes around 2000-2003..Lots of people tought they were to slow so they went back to the 142's..
I have not got to take this past 100yds as of yet..So soon as I do i will let you know.Might have to wait till Labor Day weekend for that to happen, will be able to go to 1000yds when I go home to NEBRASKA..

If you are in TN, why can't you go and shoot at Oak Ridge?

Re: New 260 Rem..

I'm from Knoxville, does predator custom have a shop there or do they just take orders?

Also, fngmike, can you elaborate more on the range in oak ridge? How far does it go out to?
