I know I've read this somewhere but thought I'd get the answer strait from the sorce. Got a new A2 style B&C stock and I'm having rubbing issues with the bolt handle. Took it out today and fired some rounds down range and had a bunch of flyers that opend the group size from 3/4moa to 2 or 3. When I got home I noticed that the bolt handle had been rubbing the stock where it is cut out. I relieved that area but now the handle still hits on the under side alittle. How free of the stock does it really need to be an in which directions. When the rifle is dry fired the bolt comes up enough to get a few pieces of paper in there so I'm wondering it thats where it should be when closed also.

Thanks.

With a round in the chamber the bolt shouldn't touch the stock anywhere or be able to touch or come in contact with the stock during recoil.

I am having the same issue with my B&C light tactical stock. I did not realize that this would cause an accuracy problem but I guess it explains the group sizes that I was seeing. So is the solution to open it up with a dremel until it clears? I was also considering bedding it as well but not real confident in doing it myself.

Went and shot it again and the groups where better but still not consistant. I took it back apart and found it rubbing the bbl near the end of the forend. Nothing alittle sandpaper didn't fix now I can get 5 one dollar bills insted of one between the bbl and stock. Hope thats it. Otherwise its a great stock.
