Well done, George!! Can't wait to see the production models because they certainly look like a winner to me!

With the way it interfaces with the top of the upper receiver, that would be a no.Pardon my ignorance, because I am not familiar with GAP stuff. Will this work on all AR flat tops? This would be sweet on my MEGA MKM receiver
that definitely looks nice. Very functional, digging the textured bottom
That's pretty sweet. Anybody know of any other custom rifle-builders opening up their design process to potential and existing customers...with a progressive evolution of the product in Solid Works?
I noticed what you did with the rails blending into the hgandguard at the proximal roots too. That addresses the feedback about sharp edges when using the support hand up near that area-a nice touch from a true 21st Century Craftsman who builds swords for discerning wielders of the long blade.
Are you sure it's a GAP-10 and not a DPMS or AR-10 modified/built by GA Precision?Has anyone seen a GAP 10 with a continuous top rail and a bottom full length rail? My buddy just got one and was not expecting the rail to take the entire 6 o clock position and a continuous 12 o clock rail

It is stamped GAP 10. It's not a POF built GAP
It's a GAP 10 through and through. View attachment 17060
ORD that's the first thing I thought when he showed me the rifle but it is indeed a solid rail. He is planning on calling Ken. I was just curious because neither he nor I had ever seen the full rail on top and bottom.
Can anyone tell me how much a gap10 in 308 with a 20 inch barrel and a PRS weighs??
I just weighed my 18" (including brake) with a PRS, no mag, atlas bipods and an empty scope mount and it weighed 11.8. That's as close I can get to a 20" because that's what I have. Hope it gives you a good ballpark idea.
I swear if they ban these out here before I can get my hands on one I'm leaving for good lol. The new upper looks amazing, will be ordering one for sure.
#3 is it guys, there will be a prototype soon then production soon thereafter
New guards are approved, in production now. Will have 100 sets of parts including new guards in the next 2-3 weeks. So unless yours in assembled and getting ready to ship in the next 2-3 weeks yours will have the new guard.
Sneak Peek prior to blasting and anodizing
