I questioned my friend about it and he claims that instructor told him that it was not one of the conversion kits weve all seen with a stock that encases your standard glock pistol. From the vague hints the instructor dropped, it would appear that this new weapon is a more traditional carbine. </div></div>
I was there as well. The $85m isn't exactly accurate. I have no doubt Glock wants to tap into the rifle market. The characteristics of said rifle are what could be expected of a Glock rifle....polymer, light weight, etc. I really don't care to repeat what (little) was said as it is not my place to speculate on Glock's intentions.
And while this is not a knock on the instructors by any means, but the guys running armorer courses are also salesmen. Some pimp and tout their product harder than others. I have yet to go to a manufacturer hosted armorer course that didn't share a few "secrets" and give you a little teaser of things to come.
