Good morning I'm new to precision shooting and hunting. I just bought a Remington 700 sps .308 20". Now starts the process of building it slowly on a very liw budget. Optics and a trigger is first n second on the list. I'm looking at installing a vortex viper series scope. If anyone has a better option I'm open to suggestions. And if your in ct I'm willing to trade a AR lower for a scope. Well anyway this appears to be great resource do far.

Im sure you will find plenty of useful information here. Vortex has a great reputation for building great scopes for the money and standing behind their products.

Depending on how much money you would like to spend there are competative offerings from SWFA and Bushnell that you should consider.

Welcome to the Hide!! As stated above I feel for you guys that have to live in a crap hole of a place that doesn't care about your rights. I feel worse that you are in a minority and that the majority of the people in your state don't mind being servants.

It is a tough time right now being a legal gun owner. The hoops are starting to get out of control. I'm a chubby guy I can't jumping thru them. Moving down south seems better every day!!!
