I'm joking about everything but the cats part.

I live just south of Pittsburgh and I shoot the hell out of .308 mostly at the SGL range in Claysville. It's only 100 yards, but everyone practicing for deer season helps me stay positive when I am having a shitty day.

During October/November I just keep a few stakes in my truck and just set up shop all the way to the left of the normal backing. Those guys shoot the shit out of the already installed stakes and litter the place with broken glass, pie plates with buckshot patterns, and all kinds of other shit they think it's acceptable to shoot at a public range where they feel like they don't have to clean up after themselves. /sigh.

And, dude. What's wrong with cats?

In brief, they breathe.

You get a hard case state cop or game warden catching those guys and it's citation time. Those slobs need to read the range rules; anything other than paper targets is prohibited.

As adults he and I can agree to disagree on cats (even though they rule). But yeah, man. I travel the east side of the state a LOT for work. Maybe one of these days I'll make it a point to come down. I've already gotten run off of one rig for having a gun in my truck. Why not make it two, right?
