First impressions,
Light, compact, clear as hell, nice big easy to use knobs with possitive clics. Things I realy like that I havent been able to find on most scopes in this price range is a power adjusment that didnt move the whole eyepiece. I hate haveing my flip ups acting like a windshield wiper and ALWAYS are in the way one way or another. This scope the eyepieces stays in one place! I will tell you that the zero stop is stupid to get set correctly. Either that or I am just stupid. I have been called that before. Also the new rapid adjust doohicky is not cool. They should have left it out of the design. When the zero stop is set the finger pointer thing is too low and scrapes all the way around the box that the turrets come out of.(sorry for the lack of technical terms I just use the shit) Again I may have missed something in the directions. The reticle also seems pretty coarse all the way powered up. Not Falcon coarse but not USO thin either. I think in this price range it is a very "useable" scope. If you are looking for a purely tactical scope that will run with the USO or Premier this will do it. It functioned flawlessly so far. I did a couple of box tests and ran it out to 1200 back to 535, out to 1000, back to 200, then back to zero and everything seemed to work tits. I will know more the more time I get behind it. So far I like it. Oh and the pic is with a defiance rail, LOW rings and a med palma contour. Fits perfect.
Good:
Very bright, and Clear!(better than my nightforces)
Digital illumination!
Compact
Seems to be half the weight of my USO.
Easy to use/get to controls and oversize possitive knobs
Comes with very quality rings with height of your choice
Bad
Should have left the rapid refrence dial on the design table.
Slightly coarse reticle
Complex zero stop. Too many things to set to get correct results. </div></div>
How'd your match go ? Is the scope a keeper, still like it ?
