Hello everyone! New member here from central Minnesota. I like to get to the range whenever I can, and by "the range" I mean the targets that I setup on some of the land my family owns. I can get out to 500 yards with the current setup. Most of the guns I own have all been budget hunting rifles...I think my most expensive setup cost me about $600 to this point. However, I am now interested in going a bit further down range. I just picked up a Bergara B14 BMP 6.5 Creedmoor and will be putting a Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 on top. Does anyone have experience with this combination? I haven't purchased rings yet because I don't want to buy the wrong height and have to buy again. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Welcome from Middle Georgia and No experience on that setup from me. Matter of fact I have yet to set up my latest purchase, a very affordable AFP Armory in .308. Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo has a few left of a limited run of 100 with 1/11" twist 18" barrel AR for under $900. So I hope you find the setup info you need. Lots of folks here and almost no limit on info access as long as you ask and dig ...
