We just finished up the last of the Phantom shots for Gun Stories season 3. The Vickers gun is clean and dry, so I'm ready for a sit down and a single malt. John Carter got some great shots, as expected. We got more footage of Joe Mantegna shooting this year, putting him in some Phantom shots as well as the standups on the range. Really nice guy, another great friend of gunowners and the national spokesperson for the National Museum / US Army. This season includes the Vickers MMG, the Winchester 73, the MP40, AR-10 , Mosin-Nagant and more.

We are already looking at the list for next year, and Rapid Fire will be filming its second season here at Gunsite in a few weeks. Should be fun!

I didn't mean that the film speed was altered. It just seems like the footage is used too much as a filler. I enjoy the show, but it just gets repetitive.
