Have a couple of questions. I just joined i don't want to offend anyone before i get started. I know you aren't allowed to sell items if you have less than 100 posts but are you allowed to shop the classifieds. I have decided that i need a 338 lap. I have all the necessary accessories. Redding dies, 100 pieces of lap brass, 150 berger 300 gr bullets, leupold mark4 just haven't made my mind up between getting a rifle built or buying a TRG42 or something along those lines. will i really gain any performance over the TRG with a custom gun, also for anyone with experience i would like to know how well the 98 bravo shoots.

I was going to have a 338 lapua built, after looking at all the options and value after the sale I decided on a 98 bravo. Did a fare amount of research before buying . Most of the info sounded like you could expect .75MOA with some averaging better. After getting it, there was some work for me to learn what loads it liked and how to shoot it. So far I have done some 600yd bench competition. Started with groups 4-5". After a few matches and practice shot a 2.5" group. Had a couple 4 shot groups under 1.75" but lost it on the fifth round. Still learning yet and think with every thing working 1.75" is possible.
