Re: Newb member. Checking in. Heres some pics to start

All 4 elk and the coyotes and about a dozen deer and antelope were taken with my RRA lower with a two stage trigger and a RRA upper and mid length spec II chambered barrel. The forearm is YHM and the scope is a Burris 3x9 fullfield II. All in all it was a bunch of parts that did not cost a lot of money but worked out very well. It is 100% reliable with SSA 110 grain pro hunters and c products or PRI mags and shoots decent groups. I think the 6.8 is alot of fun but now I am building a 308 bolt for a little more umph. Performance beyond 300 yards with the 110 grain bullets and the 16" barrel has lead me to believe that expansion becomes somewhat iffy for bigger critters and at 400 yards expansion is terrible. I am going to look into some fancy 85-95 grain offering when i run out of my current ammo/bullets.

Great pics. I'm from Billings but moved to Boz-Angeles 30 years ago. Much better/quicker access to varmints/predators/deer/public land (other than forest service) from Billings. Great place.

More coyote pics!

Nice pics you got there, don't really think as the 6.8 as a elk round but looks like you're doing very well with it. Welcome aboard.
