Hi Guys,
After much debate with myself and nudging from everyone here, I finally bit the bullet and purchsed my first AI! Now im faced with the decisions of choosing an optic reticle. Ive decided to go with a NightForce, most likely the new ATACR, but cant figure out what reticle to get. I currently use a NF NXS 5.5-22X50 with a Mil-Dot reticle and .25 MOA turrets on my work rifle. This is pretty much what I was trained on and what I know.
After reading many many articles on the Mil/Mil, MOA/MOA matching, I'd like to try this route, but because I use both, Im really stuck!!!
Im leaning towards the mil/mil because im familiar with the ranging and such with my current reticle, but im not sure if I understand how to use the mil turrets. For those of you who have used the mil turrets or have switched from a mix like I am currently using, was the adjustment pretty simple? Im definitely not the math wizard so im looking for ease of transition.
Also, some reccomendations on scope mounts would be appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
CJ
