Perhaps. Whatever you do, don't step outside with a particularly good cup of coffee. It attracts them.

Art theory on a gun board, oh my!

Ya know, that was actually very pleasing 'and' rewarding. +1 for the MAGA reference also. :p This has so much potential. And you have so much potential too.

Yeah, it struck me as cool. They don't make them like Hopper any more.

Seriously beautiful piece. I like the narrative as it's explaining what you're seeing and feeling as it's happening. Not leading or telling you what you're seeing or thinking, but reinforcing the fact that it's aesthetically pleasing and why.

Now Mikey, is this any closer? We gotta figure this out before we move on to poetry or basket weaving. :p

we have the great horned owl here and yepper, cool as hell, but i dont think it was that...
it was black and raven shaped, just almost eagle sized...
it was like it dropped out of the tree and buzzed me before it landed back in a tree about 50 yards away..

Turkey? Now ya really got my curiosity up. I'd of bet big on Owl. Hmmmm

And my human host thx for putting the lights on regarding calling at night and Owls. Got buzzed twice years ago and for the life of me never considered Owl. Everything comes to distress calls so shouldn't be surprising.

i would have absolutely considered the owl, but i think i saw t pretty good when it swooped back up in the tree...
how bought turkey buzzard, i havent ever seen them out at night tho, and buzz me...
neva know, could have been the mothman, just didnt want to tangle

Hopper's art is great. I've lived his paintings down on Cape Cod and Gloucester, MA.

Now here is a place where we agree. Hopper is one of my favorite artists. Nice find.

Not unusual for me to have to get up and walk away from a stand. Owls are protected (and kinda cool), so walking away is the only option if I can't set up against a fence or a tree to keep them off my back. Haven't been hit yet, but I've had them within a few feet.

I've seen hawks hunt under a full moon, but have no idea if eagles move at night or not.

mannn, i got more teeth than w viginia,
its eating a little at my thoughts and now i start to think maybe it was, maybe an owl and i saw it wrong...
i am out of doors 16 hours a day, easy...it hit me strange the way it looked

I'll bet it was an owl, there are some big bastards that come out after dark.
In our area it would be a great horned. Big ones appear to be 2 foot tall in the dark.
Never hear them, just can feel something watching you.

That's because Mike Pence was there and he didn't want his ass deported.

He heard his cue ...
