Night Vision Night Cap Counter Weight

Hey guys-

Finally got my night cap out in the field this weekend. I need a counter weight badly. 1 hour with it on and I was missing my PT Bravo badly which isnt a good thing. Granted its heavy with a Norotos INVG and an AA housing for my PVS14 but it shouldnt be as bad as it was. What are you all using on this one? The velcro sees higher and smaller so dont know what the preferred method is here.

I have an EOG low profile short counterweight on my Nightcap and really like it. I don't think I will ever go back to a helmet.

These are compact pouches that hold AA batteries. They have Velcro and tiedowns so you have multiple options of attaching them. They also hold an IR chem light.

What's the problem? Doesn't hold enough weight? Weak stiching?

Nothing like that it's very well made. Apparently my head is shaped like a shoebox or something because it's just uncomfortable as hell.
