Ok I have finally decided to pull the trigger on buying a Nighforce 3-15x F1... I want to run the MLR 2.0, Mil/Mil, while I was looking at them online I notice that nighforce and half of the vendors show the reticle with the mils labeled with numbers from 2-8 on the elevation, then on the other half of vendors they show a reticle pic with the mils only showing the number 5 and 10 mil labeled?? Is that an older version picture or are there two versions of the MLR 2.0?? Can anyone shed some light on the difference for me.... I'm thinking about ordering tomorrow

Also will the Nightforce ultra light rings allow this scope to fit mounted on Rem 700 milspec 5R contour barrel?

Thanks

rufields, I have the version with 5 & 10 mil. I wish I had the 2-8 version. I bought this version when it first came out not knowing that the 2-8 version was out there. Get the 2-8 if you can find it.

A new one bought today will have markings for 2,4,6,8. You're thinking correctly that when the MLR2.0 first came out they were 5 and 10 and nothing else. Some websites just have outdated pics.

The medium rings it comes with will work, but might be a bit higher than necessary. I like low rings on a Rem 700, Badger Ordnance standard height (.823") are perfect, but the Nightforce mediums (1.0")are free so...
